The campaign is designed so that the player understands that the game is relatively linear, but the creators still gave the process a certain freedom. However, you should look for clues hidden in the notes, or in the surrounding objects, because nothing is accidentally placed in the game world. Fortunately, the tasks here are extremely logical and will not make you lose a lot of time when performing. Then some mechanism does not work, then you cannot open the door or you need to put the object in another place, etc. Wherever we go, they will be found everywhere. GameplayĪ large number of attractive puzzles have been used. Some consider this an advantage, because such a solution will allow them to better empathize with the main character. It is also worth noting that the main character is completely mute, and the authors did not give him any name. Instead, we will immediately land on a mysterious island, and individual threads of a not very interesting story will be revealed by reading a letter left by a man named William – the only person we will hear during the game.

We won't see an extensive introductory video in the game that will explain the general assumptions of the scenario. Quern: Undying Thoughts is a first-person adventure game with puzzle elements, which is the debut work of the independent studio Zadbox Entertainment.
